First, Milan. This is the cathedral, which looks very nice, and they were shooting a movie in front of it. They had a woman in a white dress wearing wings (I'm guessing angel) attached to some strings to 'fly'. Although I don't really know what was going on, I wasn't sure, if this movie happened to come out in English, if I would care to see it(seemed a bit low grade). Milan is clearly a fashion capital of the world, however, as most of the Italians we saw there were dressed very well. But then our car broke down and we spent around 3 hours in the Europcar office trying to sort that out, so we opted for getting out of Italy (the driving is also insane, Italians aren't real keen on traditional traffic laws), but got stuck in traffic on A4 for another couple of hours (I feared Italy may be a new source of a black hole or the Twilight Zone), but we finally made it out and to Austria around midnight.
Thus photos 2 and 3 are Innsbruck, Austria. We didn't really stay here except overnight (or overmorning really, since it was around 00:07 when we actually arrived in the town), so these photos are all from the car as we were driving around to see it and then leaving. These are the Alps, as this part of Austria is very directly settled amidst some of the highest parts of that mountain range (hence all the snow at the tops-it never melts up there).
4 and 5 are the historic Rathaus (city hall) of Munich. It's all one long building, but I can't shoot panoramas with my camera so I had to get it in two. The tower in the last photo includes the famous Glockenspiel of Munich that we didn't acually see 'perform' because it only does so a couple times a day and our schedules didn't align.
Last is one of my favorite photos (and why I had to include it). I went for a walk one evening in Munich, just to see the city since we didn't actually spend a lot of time in Munich itself (it had a little too much 'college tourism' feel to it to me, but it could have just been where we stayed), and I was on some side street and happened to see this little stuffed rabbit just sitting there in the window. I have no idea how it got there or why, but it struck me, so I had to get a photo of it.
